Anet’s Collection at the MSA 70th Anniversary: A Meaningful Milestone in Downtown Los Angeles
Earlier this May, Anet’s Collection had the incredible opportunity to participate as a vendor at the 70th Anniversary of the Museum Store Association (MSA) trade show, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the heart of Downtown LA. The event brought together museum store professionals, artists, and small businesses from around the country, all with a shared vision: to celebrate art, culture, and commerce in the museum store industry. For Anet’s Collection, it was more than a trade show — it was a celebration of connection, creativity, and community.
As a long-standing, independent brand known for nature-inspired, handcrafted jewelry, artful scarves, and unique silk men’s neckties, Anet’s Collection was honored to showcase its offerings among a curated group of talented makers. The MSA FORWARD 2024 event — marking the Association’s 70th year — provided a powerful platform to network with museum buyers, discover new trends, and deepen our understanding of what museum store customers are truly drawn to.
The event wasn’t just about showcasing products; it was also an educational experience. The MSA’s commitment to enriching its members through panels, workshops, and networking sessions proved to be invaluable. From learning about merchandising and visual storytelling to better understanding the buyer journey in cultural institutions, the knowledge gained will undoubtedly help refine our approach to wholesale and retail partnerships going forward.
One of the most exciting outcomes of the event was the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with museum buyers — most notably, the beginning of a wonderful new collaboration with the Honolulu Museum of Art (HMOA). We are proud to officially announce that starting mid-May, a carefully curated selection of Anet’s Collection jewelry, scarves, and silk neckties for men will be available for purchase at the HMOA gift store in Honolulu, Hawaii. This marks a beautiful extension of our brand into a culturally rich and globally admired art institution.
We’re especially grateful to Stacy Chung, buyer for HMOA, for her enthusiasm, vision, and commitment to supporting independent artists and unique handmade work. Collaborating with someone who understands the value of storytelling through design aligns perfectly with Anet’s mission to celebrate nature, culture, and timeless elegance in everything we create.
This exciting milestone is just the beginning. Being part of the MSA community has not only opened new wholesale opportunities but also inspired new ideas for future collections, museum partnerships, and customized offerings tailored for cultural institutions.
To our community, stay tuned — we have more exciting collaborations and announcements on the horizon. We are thrilled about the connections we’ve made and are energized by the possibilities ahead. Our heartfelt thanks go to the Museum Store Association for hosting such a well-organized and inspiring event, and to every buyer and vendor who took the time to engage, connect, and collaborate with us.
Here’s to more partnerships that bridge art and commerce — and to seeing Anet’s Collection in museum stores around the world.
