Anet Abnous is the founder and CEO of Anet’s Collection and the co-founder of Lusanet Collective, a creative retail hub in Downtown Burbank, California, that champions over 100 independent creators through curated exhibitions and conscious-consumer storytelling.
A first-generation entrepreneur and artist, Abnous began sewing and pattern-making as a teenager, later formalizing her craft with a fine arts degree from The City University of New York. She earned an associate degree at Queensborough Community College in 2002 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Queens College in 2006. She also completed the Women’s Entrepreneurship certificate from Cornell University’s Bank of America Institute through a Tory Burch Foundation education grant — training she channels into mentorship and market access for women-led brands.
Lusanet Collective, established in 2015, fuses fine art with fashion, translating cultural heritage into modern accessories carried by museum stores and curated boutiques, and featured by outlets such as CBS/KCAL and FOX 11.
Abnous’s career trajectory reflects a pattern of building platforms for others: before launching her label, she co-curated Manhattan’s first Armenian female art exhibition in 2007, a milestone that foreshadowed Lusanet Collective’s mission to elevate underrepresented voices through retail, media and community partnerships.
Today, Abnous leads design, production, and partnerships for Anet’s Collection while co-steering Lusanet Collective’s programming — artist showcases, small-business education and cross-cultural collaborations — that convert local creativity into economic mobility.
